Texture Mapping
Flat shading images
In this image I'm looking at the wooden floor on a deck
This image shows the tile floor on the upper balcony of the Landing in cloud party.
This image is showing the ground or grass texture on cloud party.
Texture map images
Underwater, I took a shot of the texture mapped around a rock or stone
Here are some trees in the Landing of cloud party and the the green texture mapped onto those trees.
Here is grass and stone texture mapped onto a hill in the landing

Texture mapping and flat shading
The first image is flat and color shaded. The second is texture mapped. Both are 3D but the texture mapped image has more detail and depth than the colored image. In the colored image, each color represents a separate portion of the model, sort of like a building block kind of thing going on.
Midterm 6
Use of layers in gimp shop
Final image
(forgot to make tux bigger, don't think it matters though)
Tutorial 6 animated gif
Made a gif using the text circle tool under logos and adding layers, pasting the text circle, and rotating the image then anchoring the layer and repeating those steps. side note: I did the steps more than 3 times by accident and it's kind of too late to fix it. sorry.
